About Us

Our Mission

In 2011, Writers League of the Villages was founded in partnership with The Villages Recreation Department.

Our mission is to offer support and education to all published and unpublished WLOV members; to collaborate with other writing groups and literary organizations; and to cooperatively promote The Villages as a cultural center for the arts.

In 2019, Writers League of the Villages (WLOV) became a 501(c)3) non-profit and established a Scholarship Committee.

Membership is open to all residents of The Villages whether they are writers or readers. Everyone can enjoy good books.
