Welsh-born Penny Thomas spent her first few decades in Egypt, Portugal, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates before a stroke of luck took her to the United States of America.
Life in New York City, and a love of small airplanes, provided her with a multitude of plot lines to indulge in her passion for writing fiction. Her novel, As the Prop Turns, won with the Mystery Writers of America, Florida Chapter’s Freddie Award for writing excellence.
