When the ambulance arrived, she was revived,, but stayed in a coma for the next month. When she awoke, her memory was gone. While doctors expected her to need care for the rest of her life, this story tells about her journey to a complete recovery.
Her true story recounts her thoughts coming out of the coma and during her recovery to living a complete second life .
About the Author
Born in the United States, Daniela was five when her parents divorced, and she was put into an orphanage in Germany for two years along with her German cousins. Then her father brought her back to the U.S. where she went through elementary and junior high school. Eventually, she was taken back to Europe where she grew up and became one of the first female motorcycle racers in a man’s world until the horrific accident that took her life.
Brought back to life by paramedics, she was in a coma for a month before awakening and learning how to live again. This memoir is a true story and Daniela’s first book.
