Summer Hill Irregulars Series

Jackie Olsen has a lot on her plate. A forty-something widow, she’s trying to raise a teenaged son, run their household, and manage her career as a mystery writer. As if that isn’t enough, she keeps finding bodies. Along with her friends, a former super model turned college professor, a successful executive and an eccentric stay-at-home mom, she investigates crimes in the college town of Summer Hill. While she looks into the local mysteries, Jackie finds herself getting more and more involved with a sexy detective, who finds her equally attractive, but aggravating and annoying also. His protests won’t stop Jackie and her cronies from standing up for what they think is right, no matter how close Jackie and the detective become.

About the Author

Allie Ross grew up reading mysteries, starting with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and
graduating to classics by authors such as Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers. Time for writing
was scarce as she pursued other careers, working as attorney for twelve years and then as a
financial planner for twenty-five. Now retired, when Allie isn’t cooking, quilting, or line dancing,
she is working on the next book in the Summer Hill Irregulars mystery series. She and her
husband, Jim, split their time between Florida and the mountains of North Carolina. They have
one very spoiled boxer.
