About the Author

Manijeh Badiozamani was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She came to the U.S. as an exchange student at the age of 17. She is a graduate of the University of Tehran, and has a Ph.D. from the University of Idaho. Manijeh has lived in the U.S. permanently since 1968. She has taught educational psychology in Idaho, and has worked for a major financial institution both in Idaho and Colorado. Manijeh is fluent in three languages and has translated legal and historical papers for publication. Memoir writing is her passion because she wants to preserve her stories for the future generation.

She has published three books, Family Tales from Tehran, One Summer in My Life, and A Year in Middle America.
