Rookie investigative reporter Bart Dobbins is assigned to cover the plight of veterans returning from the long war in the Middle East desert. He encounters two veterans who are suffering from a devious investigational drug study designed to create the first vaccine for HIV, the virus which is responsible for AIDS. As Dobbins delves into the layers of corruption between a pharmaceutical drug company and a greedy FDA administrator, he finds both himself and his NIH scientist girlfriend in the crosshairs of the criminal justice system!
With the help of D.C. Homicide Detective Lt. Trent, Bart risks his freedom to hold the heinous perpetrators responsible and bring justice for the veteran victims.
