Dared to dream

by J.J. Clarke

Book Four in the Kate Anderson Mystery Series

ANOTHER DEATH.
ANOTHER STRANGE INHERITANCE.
AND A BOATLOAD OF TROUBLE.
At Dirty Sally’s bar there’s always a party going on. This year is different. Kate
Anderson is looking for fun, but she finds her life is on the line and her connections
in the underground network of women have disappeared. Rugged Chief of Police
Reese Matthews fears she’s over her head—despite the help of sexy side-kick Susie
Jones and trucker friend Rosie driving backup.
Kate must uncover how the pieces of the network fit together and stop a ruthless
killer before he strikes again.
Written like a bingeable TV series, Clarke weaves her magic in this fourth and final
installment of the “Dared to …” series.

“Clarke weaves her magic in this new must-read series for women seeking to be, as Kate’s grandfather says, ‘fiercer and smarter’ – and for anyone who likes gritty mysteries with a keep-you-guessing-until-the-very-end.” Chanticleer Reviews

The Kate Anderson Mystery Series by J. J. Clarke includes: Dared to Run, Dared to Fly, Dared to Return, and Dared to Dream

About the Author

J.J.Clark, award-winning author of the Kate Anderson Mystery series Dared to Run and Dared to Return, draws on her extensive experience in law enforcement and her degree in psychology to craft compelling characters.

Clarke’s scenes arise from real-life experiences as a bond investigator, parole officer, and district administrator of the largest penitentiary in the state of Missouri.

She has been writing all her life, but when she joined a weekly critique group, her novels came to life. The group encouraged her to develop strong characters with authentic dialogue. Her heroines are funny, fearless, and tenacious.

“I hope my books are entertaining and thought-provoking. I wrote them for book clubs as short, weekend reads with topics for discussion at the end to promote engaged conversation.”
