Age 101 and Still Having Fun

Age 101 and Still Having Fun!: A memoir about my Mom, a strong, independent, and unconventional woman.

by Ann Dobkin

What intrigued me to write this biography about my Mom’s long life? Because, she lived life her way, overcoming adversity and persevered through many hardships, constantly striving to live a long, healthy life in order to reach her goal of centenarian at 100 years of age. A year before her passing at 101 years old, mom was active and lucid. I felt that it was time to interview her and record everything about her life from her birth in 1902 through to her last days in the assisted living facility in 2004. She truly is an inspiration to all who want to reach the status of centenarian and acquire the roadmap of life. Her motto was: think positive, eat healthy, and have fun all the way to 101.
