Sometimes, being a rock star sucks . . .
by Leigh Court
Giles Walker is the bass player in the world’s most popular rock band, but that hasn’t stopped his third marriage from circling the drain. All he’s ever wanted is a loving family, but it looks like three strikes and he’s out. Is it because rock & roll and marriage don’t mix, or is something wrong with him? Even his own mother left when he was just seven years old.
Zara Walker loves her husband, but he’s always seemed so distant, like he has one foot out the door of their marriage. In a moment of frustration and loneliness, Zara lets their daughter’s swim coach kiss her. Then, wracked by guilt, she confesses to Giles, who sees it as just another in a long string of rejections.
In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, Zara brings their two young girls out on tour with Giles’ band to convince him they can truly be a happy family. But when the children go missing, Giles and Zara are forced to resolve their own personal differences before they can unite to save their daughters.
Will a harrowing crisis be the catalyst that gives Giles and Zara a second chance at love?
